What methods of payment do you accept?

We do not bill any third party insurances. We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, HSA, FSA, or Zelle. There is an additional 3% processing fee if paying by credit card. Onward Pediatric Therapies requires that you put a card on file to schedule/reserve an appointment and in the case of a late cancellation or no show. You may change your method of payment at the time of your session. We can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

There is a non-refundable deposit required for all intensives due 2 weeks prior to the start of the intensive. Deposit amounts are equal to the cost of 1 day ($150 for a 1x/day intensive or $300 for a 2x/day intensive).

What is your facility like?

We are excited to be part of the Be Well Collective and are located on the lower level of this multi-disciplinary medical office building. There are a few stairs to navigate to get to the lobby of the building and an additional flight of stairs down to our therapy gym. It is required that your child either be carried down to the therapy gym or navigate the stairs with assistance. We are available to assist as necessary. Please visit their website to see additional information about the building and other services offered here: Be Well Collective Columbus

Are parents required to stay/observe sessions?

Parents are required to stay on the premises and are encouraged to participate in the session. There are times where it may be adventagous for parents to step out to allow the child and therapist to build rapport. Every session includes time for discussion with parents and education. Home exercise programs are vital for continued success in therapy. We expect parents to be an active part of the treatment team. Given space constraints we ask that no more than 2 adults attend any session.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists' day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, may be charged a cancellation fee of $50 to the card on file.

If cancelling an intensive, your deposit may used for a future intensive for up to 1 year from the date of your original scheduled intensive with documentation of a medical emergency.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please dress your child in comfortable clothes. It is also helpful to bring highly motivating things that may assist with their participation in therapy (toys, lovies, iPads, snacks-no nuts, stickers, etc.). Please bring any braces and adaptive equipment that you'd like to incorporate into sessions (ex: AFOs, weighted feeding utensils, immobilizers, etc.). Please do not apply any lotions or powders to your child prior to their session.

What length/type of intensive should I book?

This is a very individualized decision. There are many things to consider including your child's endurance, price, availability, goals for therapy etc. We are happy to discuss options with you prior to booking to help you make a decision.
